As well as requiring in-depth knowledge of traditional and modern construction techniques, works to older buildings often means bringing them into compliance with current building regulations, especially in relation to environmental sustainability, disability access and fire safety. We look for imaginative ways to address this and aim to achieve a balance between client/user expectations, statutory obligations, successful heritage outcomes and long term viability.
